Hello, I’m Mandy and Sew so Nice and my “Forget Me Not Memory Bears” is a lifetime ambition to work for myself.

I decided to take the plunge and start my own business after my Mum bought me a Memory bear.  My Dad died a few years ago and to help me with the grieving process Mum bought me a bear with a pouch in the back to store my Dads’ ashes.  I keep that bear close and even talk to him, my bear gives me great comfort and reassurance to have my Dad close, but other than his ashes the bear was not “Dad” and I Thought it would be nice to have something more personal to remember him by.

I have spent 20 years working in the textile industry making a whole range of products and knew I have the professional skills, knowledge and desire to make a Memory Bear as I wanted to give other people the same comfort and pleasure I got from my bear but with the personal touch.

My husband Mark and I have developed a beautiful range of bears Our “Remember Me bear” is made from loved one's clothing and has a keepsake pouch in the back.
